Marketing & Creative content coordinator

LuLu Artists Collective is so lucky to be a part of the collaborative magic of our industry, and we are growing! To keep up with the pace, we are seeking a part-time Marketing & Creative Content Coordinator to join our team.

Us

LuLu Artists Collective is a talent management agency representing the West Coast’s finest production artists. It is our belief that if an artist is happy and well-supported, amazing art follows.  We take care of the business side of things – supporting great clients, placing amazing talent and handling the billing – so that our artists can do what they do best…make the world a more beautiful place. We’re a new kind of resource for artists that offers a supportive and collaborative creative community with access to a global client network. Think of us as a modern-day matchmaker for clients and artists.

You

You’re magic. You’re a modern marketing guru and an organized creative all rolled into one. You have the skills that require multiple slashes when you type them out on your resume. You know the ins and outs of social media, content management and the power of a well-written paragraph. You like technology and you’re not afraid to use it.

You + LuLu = Nirvana. Taking initiative and being proactive are constant elements of our team, and the person who fills this role will have no problem saying “I have an idea!” and then moving on it. As the Marketing & Creative Content Coordinator, you will help to pilot our continued marketing efforts, captain new endeavors with social media and client marketing, and cultivate prospects and ideas for new business. You’ll help to maintain and build Artist and Client relationships through Artist spotlights and recognitions, Client outreach and thank yous, social / happy hours, and the random “whatever, no reason” gatherings. This Collective likes to have fun as much as we like to work hard!

The Necessary List

We don’t like to limit things by listing rigid requirements, but we should highlight the basic skills necessary to make this a fun and rewarding job for you and for LuLu:

  • A marketing and communications background, with recent experience in print and email marketing, and social media content planning.

  • Strong writing, editing, and content creation experience. Some branding experience a plus.

  • Technology is your friend - you’re proficient in Mac systems & apps, Google Suite, and Adobe software a plus (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.). You don’t need to be a wizard, but some experience and/or being extremely intuitive or teachable is our preference.

  • Squarespace (website platform)

  • Mailchimp

  • Data & Image Management (utilizing Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)
