NISSA QUANSTROM: LAYDOWN & PROP STYLIST
Nissa Quanstrom’s work as a stylist reflects her background in fine art and her desire to continually push boundaries and evolve her tastes. She creates imaginative, energetic imagery with masterful attention to texture, color, and composition. She is equally comfortable on location and in the studio, bringing inexhaustible enthusiasm and gentle humor to her collaborations with clients.
Nissa studied Studio Art and Art History at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before beginning her career in commercial photography as a styling assistant in the ‘90s. Since then, she has built a broad portfolio and strong client following, and has had work in the New York Times Magazine, Interview, Esquire, Time, and O Magazine. She splits her time between Northern California and the Sonoran Desert, finding inspiration in how nature mingles with environments constructed by humans.
